The mission of Belfry High School Library Media Center is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. The Library Media Center program is designed to support, compliment, and enhance the educational philosophy, goals, and objectives of Belfry High School. The mission is accomplished through the following goals:

Provide material and information related services that are fully integrated into the instructional program.

Provide access to a variety of resources that support the school curriculum and meet the instructional needs of both staff and students.

Teach Informational Literacy skills that encourage effective use of information so students will become lifelong learners.

Promote the enjoyment of reading.

Provide leadership in the use of Digital Citizenship.
